On Thursday Jan 16, YorkRegion.com posted a story that caused some commotion on social media.
The article, which had a very factually incorrect byline :”Welcome to Stouffville; where the tallest building in town gets approved out of thin air overnight.” made me make a series of videos to set the record straight. My disappointment with the journalist goes without saying but the lack of research in the article and the fact that it made it past the editorial board is what is astounding to me.
