I’ve noticed a number of people on social media commenting on how “bad“ our water is in Stouffville. While the taste of water may be a personal preference, I want to assure everyone that our water is CLEAN, HEALTHY & SAFE. York Region staff have a rigorous 24/7 monitoring & testing process which is complemented by WS staff’s daily testing of our local water supply. Council and I take the responsibility for clean, safe drinking water very seriously. Why? Because we will personally be held liable if there are ever issues. Walkerton changed many things in the Province including liability.
