UPDTED: Social Media Guidelines

I appreciate you taking the time to connect with me online. While I make an effort to stay engaged across digital platforms, I’m not able to respond to every message or notification immediately. The volume of interactions can be significant, and thoughtful responses take time.

If you have a question, concern, or request that requires follow-up, the most effective way to reach me is by email at [email protected]. My office and I review all correspondence and will ensure you receive a response.

My goal is to keep residents of Stouffville informed and involved. Through my channels, I share updates about municipal decisions, local initiatives, community events, and important news affecting our town.

Public input is an important part of local government, and I encourage residents to share their perspectives. To help maintain a constructive environment, I ask that all interactions remain relevant, courteous, and grounded in accurate information. Please also respect personal privacy by not including sensitive or identifying details in public comments.

To keep discussions productive, certain types of content may be removed. This includes posts that are offensive, misleading, repetitive, promotional, or unrelated to the topic at hand. Content that targets individuals, uses inappropriate language, or disrupts respectful dialogue will not be permitted.

Use of tagging features should be appropriate and limited. Repeated or excessive tagging may result in restrictions on access to my online platforms.

Access to these channels is intended for individuals with a genuine connection to Stouffville. Accounts that appear inauthentic, represent organizations rather than individuals, or engage in spam-like behavior may be restricted or removed.

My priority is to foster open, respectful communication that benefits our community as a whole. Thank you for being part of that effort and for contributing to the ongoing conversation about Stouffville’s future.
